Dressing in pioneer clothing can have a tremendous impact on the spirit of the trek. While the pioneers are admired for all of the possessions they left behind, there are a few things you will want on trek. You need to arrive the first morning with a sack lunch and wearing your pioneer clothing. All items, except hat, sleeping bag, pad, PJ’s, coat, blanket and eating utensil bag, should fit into a 5-gallon bucket. The bucket goes on the handcart with you. Please label all items. Your items will receive considerable wear, and should not be valuable or expensive. Many of the items can be purchased inexpensively in thrift stores, or collected through donations from family, ward or community members. Please contact Brother or Sister Todd with any questions or concerts (801-768-3618). Additional information can be found at http://sunset2trek.blogspot.com/.
